Welcome to Bankside B&B
If you are looking for a warm welcome in a spacious, quietly situated period house close to the town centre of
St Austell, then Bankside is for you. On arrival you will be welcomed with refreshments served in the lounge or in the garden.
If staying for three or more nights a complimentary cream tea will welcome you on arrival. Cream teas are available by arrangement any day during your stay at a cost of £3.50.
Bedrooms
We have three attractive and well fitted double bedrooms with their own shower rooms available for guests. Bedroom one and bedroom two have en suite shower/wc and bedroom three has a private shower/wc. Each bedroom has a colour television, tea/coffee making facilities, and hair dryer. The house has full central heating. Bathrobes are provided for your use during your stay. Bedroom three can sleep three comfortably if required.
Breakfast
Our gourmet breakfasts are served in the dining room. They feature a choice of cereals, porridge and home made yogurt, home baked wholemeal and white bread, jams and marmalade, locally produced bacon, sausages and free range eggs.
For something a bit different why not start the day with one of our house specialties such as pancakes served with banana, honey, nuts, and yogurt, or with maple syrup and bacon or scrambled eggs with smoked salmon.
To complement your meal choose from a variety of teas, fresh ground coffees, hot chocolate and orange juice.
